Together, we’re empowering aspiring chefs to explore their entrepreneurial side as they venture into the world of food business ownership. In collaboration with this mission, GBC has hosted a month-long competition mentored by Chef John Higgins and the student champions will operate their own food business through the Cookin platform.
The store will operate from May 6 to the end of June. Each week, a new chef will operate the store and have their menu available for delivery and pick-up.

Seven Cookin Chefs took part, with four of them conducting hands-on cooking demonstrations featuring home-cooked meals using Sobeys ingredients. They highlighted the diverse local food scene in Toronto.
