HOLIDAY ALERT:
The Immunodeficiency Clinic and the Clinic Pharmacy will both be closed on Friday March 29th (Good Friday) and Monday April 1st (Easter Monday) for the long weekend. We will reopen on Tuesday April 2nd at 8:00am and 8:30am respectively.

Canada ends policy that forced immigration applicants and refugees to disclose HIV status to sponsors All permanent resident applicants are still required to undergo an HIV test and can be deemed inadmissible if their anticipated health care costs exceed a mandated threshold.
The Clinic and the Clinic Pharmacy will be closed as of 4pm on Friday December 23rd. The Clinic will reopen on Tuesday January 3rd at 8am, and the pharmacy will reopen on the same day at 8:30am.

Today is World AIDS Day. This is an important time for us to acknowledge those we have lost in the last 40 years. We must also acknowledge the progress we've made in treating the virus, as well as the powerful community that has grown in the face of fear, grief, and despair.
Today, our team lit a candle for those we have lost in the past year, followed by a moment of silence. We hope you can find time today to acknowledge and remember.
FLU SHOTS ARE IN!
This year we are returning to providing flu shots on a drop-in basis. You will still need to be screened for COVID-19 to enter the hospital, so just let them know that you are attending the clinic when you arrive.
Note: we have a limited supply at the moment for those under 65, but we are hoping to receive more soon. For those over 65, we have plenty.

CLINIC CLOSURE:
Please be advised that the Immunodeficiency Clinic will be closed as of Thursday December 24th for the holiday season. We will be returning to our normal hours (8am to 4pm) on Monday January 4th, 2021.
The Clinic Pharmacy will also be closed for the same dates. So, if you need to pick up medication, you will need to do so before 4pm on Wednesday December 23rd.
