MCS Consortium Awarded Metrolinx GTA Contract - Railway Age The Mace, Comtech and SYSTRA consortium (MCS) has been awarded the Delivery Partner Services contract to support Metrolinx’s Scarborough Subway and Yonge North Subway extension projects in Canada’s Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

I like Josh Matlow and I think he means well for his constituents, but it would have been wrong to settle for LRT in Scarborough in lieu of the full-fledged subway extension - The subway extension provides a solid base on which to build a fast and proper transit network (including LRT) for the long term future of the community - Yes, it's late; yes we should done it long before now; but it's coming, and we'll eventually be where we should have been all along - It would have been short-sighted to settle for less
