This gorgeous Begonia Morocco is for sale on the Shop My Jungle website (link in bio). I only have the one ready for now so don’t sleep on this one 🏎

I decided to take some updated photos today (first 3 pics) since this guy grew a whole leaf and is currently pushing out a new one since last week (last 2 pics to compare).

Begonias do just fine in moderate humidity, but they really do thrive in warm humid conditions.

Their leaves are just so beautiful and in comparison to other pink plants this one is relatively inexpensive 👏🏼

Tradescantia Pallida Purple Heart 💜

This fuzzy, purple plant is one of the most resilient plants I own and it’s a fast grower too. It’s a great plant for beginners and a fun pop of colour/texture to add to any collection. Many people are put off by the fuzz, but it’s honestly one of my favourite plants in my collection.

Shortbread cookies will also be available to order by the box at the launch tonight at 8pm! These delicious treats are for pick up only 📣

Classic, almond, toffee, chocolate chip, and an exciting new flavour is dropping at the launch 💜(hint: it’s purple) Please note that decorated shortbread won’t be available for the launch, but will be in the future 🙏🏼

I love begonias, because most change colour as they grow 😍 I find that light plays a huge part. Begonias also love humidity 💦, but they do just fine in average home humidity.

I’ve been keeping myself busy/distracted working on this launch, which was so much more work than I could have anticipated 😵‍💫 But I am so grateful that I am fortunate enough to be able to open my own humble little online shop and to do it on my birthday when so many have lost their livelihoods and lives to COVID, war, and the many other things happening in the world right now.

It’s been a crazy last month deciding to spontaneously launch Shop My Jungle] with very little time to prep to catch the tailwind of the holiday market season. I managed to pull it off thanks to the help and support of family and friends.

Now that the holidays are here I plan to take a short break from social media to spend quality time with family and friends.

I’m excited to have some time to work on the Shop My Jungle brand and start thinking/planning ahead to 2022 and beyond 🚀

I’m very excited to announce that Shop My Jungle will be a vendor at the Noche Buena market happening December 18 at 🎄🎅🏼

I will have plenty of shortbread cookies for sale in individual servings as well as boxes perfect for sharing over the holidays.

The line up includes classic (plain), decorated (plain with icing), almond, and chocolate chip!

I’ve been taking it easy since the event to process and unwind from all the stress, excitement, anxiety, and lack of sleep leading up to the event.

I just want to thank everyone again for coming out and supporting my very new small business. I’ve got some exciting news to share in the upcoming week so stay tuned 🔔

This experience has been extremely positive and I’m grateful to the organizers of BotanicalTO | Plant Show] for giving me this opportunity despite not yet having much of a following or launching my online shop.
