It has been a busy couple of months and that has impacted my creative process in many ways. As we start to go through another season change, I tend to spend more time observing nature and its intricate beauty. I’m looking forward to more designing-relaxing time.

“Primus” is a piece that represents complexity distributed in layers. It is the first very detailed design I created. It is composed of twelve layers of birch and distinctive patterns. It measures 18 inches tall and 24 inches wide.

“Liam” based on maritimes adventures, involving the superimposition of waves, compass rose and cartography, all loved symbols by the artist. The piece explores a new journey into the infinite possibilities of shaped frames and forms. Composed of 10 layers of birch, it measures 12 inches square

'Iris' is part of a bespoke collection, Homage to Canada, inspired by the province of Quebec.  A piece that contains elements representing the largest of the 10 Canadian provinces. It is composed of ten distinctively patterned layers of birch measuring 12 inches square.

“Sunflower” is a set of four pieces, designed in allusion to the flower that gives its name. Each work was focused on the flaw trace of the petals, forming wavy shapes with moving lines.

Colmeia is an enclosed structure with different geometric shapes. Colmeia means beehive in Portuguese, which brought inspiration to this piece. Composed of twelve layers of baltic birch and four distinctive patterns. It measures 11 inches square.
