Today was a happy day dropping off 100 beautiful turkeys to the amazing group . These 100% halal young turkeys will feed about 1000 people.

Bluffs Food Bank is feeding 350 families per week and is 100% volunteer run…not one paid salary. These folks run truly on the kindness of their hearts.

If you can please drop off something to them…literally everything you bring goes directly to the folks who need it most.

The entire Chefs Catering family are super proud of our ever energentic President Oskar Andersen and all of his team mates for absolutely crushing and winning the run to Montreal marathon last week.

641 km in two days is a tremendous accomplishment! Running from downtown Toronto to the top of Mount Royal…WOW!!

watching you train over the last year for this race was something we are all amazed by.

You truly applied the same principles of dedication and persistence that you do in running our business every day.

Way to go!!!!!

Last night was very special.

The undeniably unstoppable force that is Lana Duke (the owner of Ruth’s Chris) presented our Founder Justin Siklis with his own table and plaque at her wonderful downtown Toronto location.

The night was spent talking about how the company was founded and countless unbelievably beautiful stories around female entrepreneurship and growth through good business practices.

These two folks came together really through their love of philanthropy and always giving back to the community. You can bet that some very special things are currently being planned for this coming holiday season that we are extremely excited to announce soon.

Our family owned and operated business is looking to hire a team of professionals to work the night shift 4-12 or flexible hours creating lunches and dinners for 200-250 people per day.

Our core team is gearing up for a very big summer.

With two camps, more corporate events than we’ve ever seen and a whole bunch of new daily catering clients the people pictured are going to be very busy.

We couldn’t be prouder of the team that has been very organically assembled.

Super proud to announce our newest camp partnership with Camp Red Pine just outside of our nations capital!

This awesome camp has been in operation since 1925 and we look very forward to continuing their awesome traditions of making a special experience for all for all of their guests with our food!

Oskar has proven time and again his loyalty, integrity and commitment to our mid sized family operated firm.

Oskar has been a driving force behind many new and successful divisions of our company over the past years.

This decision was not made lightly as this is the first time in half a century of operation that this position has not been held by a member of our family. Not only are we gaining a new leader but a wonderful new member of our family

Justin Siklis will remain on in his current role as Sr Partner/Founder and looks forward to continuing to advise and grow our business through multiple sales channels and through the core customer service values that have set our company apart from others over the past 50 + years.

Owner Justin Siklis and his crew at Chef’s Catering have been grilling and serving at the St. Mike’s Barbecue for 20 years, with a two-year hiatus during the pandemic. They arrived at 7 a.m. to set up tables, tents and unload dozens of cases of drinks, chips, and hotdog buns from the truck.

“It feels great to be back, this is one of my favourite accounts,” Siklis says. “I was actually born at St. Mike’s, so I like to come out because I have a special connection with the hospital. It’s nice to come back and feed the people who work here. Jeff and his team are very easy going and they trust us, which is important with a client-caterer relationship.”

On top of seeing old friends, Siklis also enjoys the community aspect of the BBQ. “A lot of people in the area with housing issues or mental health issues come by for a hot dog and we don’t turn them away. I like working with organizations like that.”
