A study of cobalt. Back in February, I was obsessed with the different shades and colours cobalt can produce. When mixed with black copper oxide, it creates a beautiful grey blue mimicking Chinese ink paintings. With the less vibrant blue, I've added a splash of red.

WHATS NEW?? We added a few glazes to our roster and started experimenting with coloured porcelain. So expect more colour this time 👩‍🎨👨‍🎨.

I also wanted to apologize for not posting more about k.dinners/ kmarket stuff recently, they're actually both going on really strong. Kmarket is in a lot of stores across Toronto and k.dinners is full every week with a very long waitlist (sorry about the wait).

I've been overwhelmed with gratitude with all the support and encouragement with this whole ceramics thing that I wanted to share my journey of being a baby discovering things again. Thank you for sticking around.

I can't believe .studio is turning one. and I have worked so hard for this and I am super happy that it's becoming something we both wanted. Literally, blood, sweat and tears.

To celebrate, we are gonna swing open all our doors for our first weekend art sale October 21/22. We're making exclusive pieces just for this sale and they won't be available on our website. So please come out and warm up our space.

Heath and life update.

I just had a spinal surgery to remove a herniated disc that was giving me chronic back pain for the last 3 years. Everything went perfectly and I just need 4-6 weeks to fully recover.

Thank you for all the kind words and all the love leading up to this. I will be back with more amazing things but now I'm going to take as much time as I need.

Dumplings will still be available for delivery but also hit up the many stockist we have around the city and the wonderful products they have on top of the dumps.

What’s the best way to inject flavour into your everyday bland food?

Try the Yau Everything Sauce or Yuzu Ponzu. Both are intense and elegant at the same time and so much more than just a dumpling sauce.

1. Add a little water to them and make a quick noodle broth.
2. Marinate fish or meat. Make a quick stir-fry with it.
3. Pour it on your favourite food and watch it transform!

Art of Wrapper Making Kits are now available.

I will be teaching you every step to make perfect dumplings at home. It will be a live interactive demo, so I can personally guide you through every step.

I will also be including a special dumpling filling that is only available in this kit. It will feature and highlight salted duck egg yolks and watercress. Each brings a unique flavour and texture to bring your dumps to the next level.
