Heading onto Star Biryani's third Ramadan, we continue to have extended hours this year as well as yummy menu additions all-month long!

Here are a few things to bear in mind as we navigate one of the busiest seasons of the year:

▪︎ Come early! Iftar items sell out very fast so get your hands on the best picks early in the day to find everything you're looking for.
▪︎Due to the overwhelming number of orders this month, we may be compelled to shorten hours or completely shut off online ordering platforms like Uber Eats and Skip The Dishes throughout the day.
▪︎ Given the shift in demand trends during Ramadan, some regular menu items (e.g. Thai/Chinese Specials) and made-to-order items (e.g. Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala) may be discontinued this month-only to help increase production of more higher demand items like our Iftar specials and Biryani.
▪︎Dine-in services are paused this month to help ease the flow of takeout lineups and catering.
▪︎We do our best to take every phone call, but we cannot guarantee all calls will be attended during peak hours as serving and checking out lined up customers are first priority.
▪︎Please visit our menu online to know the full selection of our offerings and prices and only call when you are ready to order.
▪︎We are doing our absolute best and giving our 100% to provide faster and efficient service this Ramadan. Your patience, humanity, and cooperation goes a very long way.

After over a year and a half, our restaurant is ready to welcome you again for dine-in! 🥳

With the Ontario government lifting capacity limits for food and drink establishments, what better time to breathe new life into our tables and chairs than now!

If you've been to the store in the past week, you may have seen the good news for yourself. 😄

We couldn't be more thrilled and hopeful to see our province regain some normalcy and allow our lovely customers to do what they love to do best at their favourite restaurants! 🍽

Keeping Ontario's legal requirements and everyone's health and safety in mind, all customers who desire to dine-in must show us proof of vaccination and ID (identification). 📃

Easiest way to show your vaccination record? 💉
Just get your vaccine certificate at
ontario.ca/proofofvaccination using your health card information, and download or print a copy of your vaccination certificate!

All we will do is scan the QR code on the certificate and check your ID, and you're good to go! ✅

It's been a minute. The summer's been a long and busy one and although we couldn't connect as much online, we couldn't be more glad to be able to see and serve you all in-person.

I got two important announcements for you folks:

1) We will be closed an additional day this week, Tuesday, August 31st. The Star Biryani team is going on a short vacation, and will return for business on Wednesday September 1st at 12pm, hopefully more rested and recharged than before. 🧘🏽‍♂️

2) We will be open on Labour Day (Monday September 6th, 2021) from 12pm to 9pm for all your long-weekend needs! 🥳 Party catering, takeout, whatever you need, we got you!
