Seafood, vegetables, and poultry go nicely with delicate teas like green and white teas, including Dragonwell or Sencha.

Teas with bright and vibrant flavours, such as blacks teas from Sri Lanka or Assam, India, go well with red meat, spicy food, Italian, or Indian dishes.

Herbal teas also go well with grilled vegetables, salads, and white meats, specially with seafood. There are many herbal blends to choose, ranging from citrus flavours to more sweet flavours like dragon fruit and peach.

Oolongs are often served with Chinese cuisine. Spicy teas, such as black Yunnan, Keemun, and chai teas provide additional richness and layers to the tea matching experience and go well with subtle flavoured foods.

Dessert - choose for a Golden Monkey or English Breakfast black tea with a cocoa/chocolate flavour. These rich Chinese teas pair beautifully with baked goods, such as chocolate cakes, or a creamy, dense strawberry shortcake.
