I did it again. 2016 Gibson SG Special- Faded.
Walked into L&M on Monday morn and there it was. It had been a trade in on Saturday afternoon.
I may have been the first to see it on Monday morn. A great price, showroom condition and plays like butter. Time to channel my inner Zappa. This thing rawks.

Something to work on. A very sweet looking Mesa Boogie Mark2B (ish). (1983)
All the indicators of a MK2B with some potential factory installed upgrades.
A few issues inside to deal with (blown screen resistor on one of the power tubes)…2 blown power tubes and whatever else I can find. The big PSU filter caps have a 1982 date code. Will have to refresh all the Electrolytic capacitors in the power and bias section.

Blaupunkt Sultan 2420 Radio This Radio came to me from a close friend for a full refresh. It has been in the family since it was bought new in the 1950's. A beautiful little radio platform. Requires some TLC. Primary issues: Needs new Power Supply Filter Capacitors. A number of blocking caps and resistors have to be replaced. Switching system is dirty and needs a good cleaning and refresh....
