🌟 Meet Sara Kydd! 🌟 Our incredible STEM Camps Program Facilitator who worked with us in Lawrence Heights this summer. Sara was thrilled to dive into a new community and share her passion for Global Health with the youth! 🌍✨ A dedicated Visions community member for many years, she has grown from participant to facilitator, and we’re proud to have had her with us this summer!

Throwback to an incredible day with Ash Grove Cement! 🌟 Our Empower & Launch youth dove into the engineering world through hands-on workshops covering mechanical, chemical, and electrical engineering. They got their hands dirty making cement, learned the art of controlling a kiln, and gained valuable insights during a Lunch & Learn with company experts. To top it all off, they toured the entire facility by bus! 🚍 Huge thanks to for an unforgettable experience!

We’re reflecting on our Empower & Launch Showcase, where we celebrated the remarkable achievements of STEM leaders from our summer programs. Youth in grades 8-12 from our Journey programming delivered dynamic presentations showcasing their STEM experiences, leadership growth, and skills development. They shared their knowledge with the community, families, friends, supporters, and judges—some even blew us away with inspiring speeches! Thank you to our incredible Visions community for making this day possible!

🌟 Meet Gebel Ceesay! Hailing from the Mount Dennis community, Gebel is our amazing content capture and communications specialist. He's thrilled to build relationships with the team and youth this summer and capture their genuine excitement. Gebel's favourite STEM subject is Engineering. Finding a photo of the photographer? Now that's quite a challenge! We're incredibly lucky to have his talent on board this season, bringing our story to life through the content you see on our networks. 🙌✨

🌟 Meet Zakariye Hashi! 🌟 Our amazing STEM Catalyst & Community Engagement Facilitator! Zakariye is excited to work with youth across the GTA, building connections, sharing experiences, and helping them grow. His favourite STEM subject? Engineering! 🛠️⚙️ His summer soundtrack? Throwback to an incredible day in the Danzig community in Scarborough! We had a blast with our outstanding youth, their families, stellar judges, and a special visit from local MPP From STEM presentations to hands-on activities, the room was electric. This community-powered showcase was about fun, building connections, and highlighting youth talents and skills! Danzig, we are so proud to transform the future together!

🌟 Meet Makeba McRae! 🌟 She's working in Driftwood/Regent this summer, bringing her passion for science and community to the youth!

Our incredible Program Facilitator working in Lawrence Heights & Falstaff this summer! Deeqo is all about making this summer STEM Camps unforgettable for the youth with fun STEM activities and a focus on strengthening Social and Emotional Skills. 🎉 She's excited to see how the youth use the resources provided to become agents of transformative change in their communities and beyond! 🌍

A few days ago, we were thrilled to join for an incredible session with a new cohort of our camps. Our youth got hands-on with AMD's STEM professionals, building a powerful PC from the ground up! How awesome is that? 🎮💻 We wrapped up the day with a lively Kahoot! Game, where they put their new knowledge to the test. Thanks to AMD for this great invitation!

🌟 Meet Kamsiyochi Onyekere! 🌟 Our fantastic program facilitator from Erindale supports the Launch and Connect youth this summer! Kamsiyochi is excited to spend time with amazing youth, share experiences, and learn from each other. Her favourite STEM subjects? 🌟 Last week, youth from the Falstaff community had an amazing day with our STEM guests from Dynacare! They practiced collecting and cultivating microorganisms by swabbing Petri dishes, and they had a blast. We also had fun creating foam with our Elephant Toothpaste experiment! 🧫🧪 Check out some inspiring photos of these amazing, empowered youth. Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Arthika Venukumar. 🌟 Arthika joined us nearly eight years ago as a participant and quickly became a great team member. She’s honed her skills and dedicated herself to empowering others. Today, Arthika continues to facilitate programs that connect young people with the wonders of STEM. 🎉🎓 As we celebrate the fantastic youth graduating from our communities, we want to highlight the incredible individuals who have grown with Visions and helped us advance our mission. Today, we spotlight Adnaan Haneef from the Moss Park Community. Adnaan has been with us for eight amazing years, starting in Grade 4. Recently, he graduated and is pursuing Life Sciences at the University of Toronto with a special interest in Zoology. We've witnessed his growth and are so proud of his achievements. We had an awesome time with our friends at during our staff training session! 🏀✨ It was fun, competitive, and super constructive for our upcoming season.
