Job Title: First Aid Instructor / Examiner
Salary: $20-25 per hour

Job Summary:
First Aid Instructor / Examiner is responsible for providing high-quality first aid instruction and examinations to individuals and groups. This role plays a crucial part in equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively to emergency situations. The incumbent will deliver comprehensive first aid training, conduct evaluations, and ensure adherence to Lifesaving Society standards and guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Deliver Engaging Instruction:
- Plan, organize, and deliver first aid courses to individuals and groups, ensuring a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, visual aids, and practical exercises to enhance participants' understanding and retention of first aid principles.
- Adapt instructional techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.

2. Conduct Examinations:
- Administer written and practical examinations to evaluate participants' understanding and application of first aid concepts.
- Ensure consistent application of examination standards, procedures, and marking criteria as per Lifesaving Society guidelines.

3. Maintain Lifesaving Society Standards:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest first aid techniques, protocols, and industry best practices.

- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks during training sessions.

4. Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, examination results, and certifications issued.
- Assist in the scheduling and coordination of first aid courses, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and facilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to identify areas for improvement and contribute to curriculum updates.

5. Emergency Preparedness:
- Demonstrate proficiency in first aid skills and knowledge to act as a role model for participants.
- Remain calm and respond effectively during emergency situations that may arise during training sessions.
- Promptly report any incidents, accidents, or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities.

Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Lifesaving Society First Aid Instructor / Examiner.
