This Queen portrait look for was inspired by Queen Charlotte the queen of Great Britain from 1761 - 1818. The was rumored to have African heritage, and played by Golda Rosheuvel and India Amarteifio in Bridgerton and the Queen Charlotte series.
Queen Charlotte reigned in the Regency era, when higher waisted dresses with a narrow silhouette were fashionable, but she preferred highly elaborate “old fashioned” stays and hip panniers of her youth.
This is one of my favourite costuming eras, with the ruffles, beads, giant skirts and baubles. I couldn’t be happier turning Tynomi into this stunning sultry 18th Century queen with deep purple silk, with gold accents, a giant collar, wildly huge hip panniers, and golden spun bloomers.

inspired by foods from around the world, so of course I had to bring my herritage into this and do a Greek dish that is so dear to me, and that is Spanakopita! The delicious flaky pastry stuffed with spinach, feta and herb filling!
It is one of my comfort foods and I grew up eating it, and to this day cook all the time! (Who wants to see a recipe/cooking video of me making one )

Steampunk This was such an incredible moment to create this look. The layered leather, corsetry, and robotic cuckoo clock, AND for such an iconic performer on an iconic stage, I will be forever grateful for it all. I will be posting a video about the process next week, I can’t wait for you to meet Derek the cuckoo bird 🕰️

I had no chill about creating this green and black silk corset dress with laser cut leather. I’m obsessed with House of the Dragon and the detailing of costumes, and I had so much fun with this look that not only looked like she should be assigned her own dragon, but because of the laser cut leather smelled authentically dragon burned. Oops.
