November 24 is a big day for our friend Henry From. He plays the Brahms Piano Concerto with the Royal Conservatory Orchestra in Koerner Hall (beside the ROM in downtown Toronto). We will be enjoying the livestream.

We are SO PROUD of Allegro Music guitar student Jesse Jones, who was selected from the music students of Toronto Prep School to attend GlobeEducate's hugely popular International Music Festival, hosted this year by Agora Lledo International School in Castellon, Spain. He will be playing in the festival and living with a host family. YAY JESSIE!!!

It's hard to believe that Scott Cassells has been instructing at Allegro Music for 24 years! Scott teaches the fundamentals of music through songs that inspire his students to grow as musicians. He caters to the personal interests of each individual’s musical taste, and provides a strong foundation of skills that will help his students achieve their goals.

Scott started taking classical guitar lessons at age ten. In addition to graduating with Honours from Humber College's Jazz Program, he studied in California with musician/author Ted Greene, jazz guitarist Steve Khan, and Joe Diorio. Scott recorded and played locally with different groups showcasing rock, jazz, classical, and country styles - some of which have been reviewed in Guitar Player Magazine.

We are now open for in-person lessons in our spacious new studio!

Thursdays - drums, guitar, bass
