Kitchen Talk
Cooking program that focuses on promoting the communication & social skills of its participants
The kitchen is an exciting place – somewhere where people gather, talk & socialize. “Kitchen Talk” is an innovative program created by Tina Gasee, Speech-Langauge Pathologist. The program focuses on building the communication & social skills of people with various special needs through the motivating element of food. Participants are exposed to communication opportunities with peers in small group

Gov't funding to families to offset costs for buying learning materials for their children (e.g., workbooks, educational apps, educational subscription services etc.).
If the family has already applied for gov't financial support that was available to parents during the education strikes (I think it was approx $25/strike day), they do not need to apply for the above benefit since it will be directly deposited into their account.
Get support for families Learn about funding that families can apply for if they have children who are not in school or child care because of coronavirus (COVID-19). Find out if you are eligible and how to apply.
Congrats to Kitchen Talk staff Caitlin for being accepted to all 3 Communicative Disorder Assistant programs that she applied to!!!
