University College welcomes Dr. Temitope (Tope) Adefarakan to the Canadian Studies program in the position of assistant professor, teaching stream, Black Canadian Studies.
Tope holds a doctorate from the University of Toronto and uses a decolonial and equity-centered approach in her teaching, which is grounded in Black feminist and African Indigenous critical social theory.
