Lovebombing is a manipulative technique used by some individuals to quickly and intensely shower their partner with attention, affection, and gifts in an attempt to gain control and create dependency. Self-care is different for everyone, and you'll find what works best for you. The important thing to remember is that it's not selfish to take care of yourself - it's actually really important!
