Experiencing period related symptoms? Excess estrogen is one of the most common concerns we see in menstruating women of all ages! If you are struggling with: ☹️ Irregular, heavy or painful periods ☹️ cyclical breast tenderness ☹️ cyclical bloating or cravings ☹️ PMS and mood swings.... You could have excess estrogen in the system, also known as estrogen dominance. Living with higher than normal estrogen levels, will not only lead to bothersome symptoms, but can increase the risk of estrogen-related cancers down the road, the possible need for a hysterectomy, or make for an unpleasant transition into menopause due hormonal imbalances. What causes this you may ask? There are actually several imbalances that may lead to these symptoms: #1 high internal production of estrogen by your ovaries #2 you may be exposed to high levels of external estrogen (also known as xenoestrogens) from things like pesticides, beauty products, plastics, etc. #3 you may have a low production of progesterone relative to estrogen levels, so these symptoms are a lot more pronounced #4 you may have poor detoxification of estrogen through the liver and gut, causing estrogen buildup in the system. If you have these symptoms, it’s important to first test your estrogen levels and then understand WHY they may be out of balance. Test, don’t guess! 🧪 At the Hormone Rebalance Centre, we test estrogen levels for every woman. This allows us to know the most appropriate intervention to get to the root cause and resolve this issue for good. 🙌🙌🙌 There are many natural and effective ways to normalize elevated estrogen. Send us a direct message if you would like to learn more about your testing and treatment options! 🤗 #HormoneAcademy #hormonerebalance #hormonerebalancecentre #womenshealth #periodproblems #PMS #menstrualcycle
