Meet 2016 past winner: Dr. Julio Montaner, Executive Director and Physician in Chief, BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/ AIDS.

Dr. Montaner has been a scholar and contributor in the field of AIDS research for decades. He has published over 800 articles on HIV/AIDS research and is a Professor of Medicine at UBC. Over his career, he has received a number of awards and distinctions on a global scale. We are proud to have recognized Dr. Julio Montaner as an influential member of the Hispanic- Canadian community.
