You’re a Legend and you know it

This picture was 4 years ago at an event I’ve attended for 8 years

I’ve grown so much since then, made many mistakes and learnt from them…

Today I announce that I will be joining some of the most talented on the planet for a return of Electric Island to the Toronto Island in July 1st

Can’t wait to bring 8 years of memories to create one big one for everyone who’s going to be at Stage 3

I never thought I'd willingly submerge myself in a tub of ice water, but today I did just that

As the shock of the cold hit me, I realized that sometimes the things that scare us the most are the things that can teach us the most

I learned that I am stronger than I thought, that I can push through discomfort, and that the rewards of stepping out of my comfort zone can be truly exhilarating

And as I sit here sipping my hot coffee, I'm reminded that sometimes the most transformative experiences are the ones that leave us feeling a little bit shaken up

The world needs to hear the story about this incredible woman

She was born in India and at a very young age had 3 children. She had this innate passion for poetry so she decided while raising her three kids in her early twenties to pursue a PHD in hindi literature

Everyday besides raising her three kids with no regard for her own well being she also relentlessly walked 5 kilometers one way in the scorching Indian heat. If you don't know in India tempratures rise above 40 degrees celsius not even accounting for the humidity.

Throughout her life she selflessly sacrificed her priorities to take care of her mother, and her family while dealing with her own monumental health issues such as Cancer

But none of this hindered her love for providing for others.

Even in her old age when moving from her bedroom to the kitchen was a difficult task, she used to sit in the living room and ask her grand children or her children what she could do for them and what they would like to eat.

She was my nani - my grandmother, and she left this world today a much better place than it was before she was here.

People with green personalities that are empaths and care about others and the world are the people making this place a better place, not the A list celebrities we worship that just talk about it for publicity

Please look around you and see the people who are doing things for others and give them a big hug and show your appreciation for them because we need so many more of them

Her passion for art runs through me, her compassion for people lives through me

Toronto has now been inked in my memory forever ❤️🔥🥲

It just hit me

Living 15 years in a city you forget all the relationships and experiences you have with so people and places

It’s bittersweet but when the bigger picture is clear… the sacrifice is inevitable

I loved how Toronto grew me from a shy little teenager trying to figure out my place in this world to a man who is relentlessly pursuing his purpose

None of this would have been possible if the right conditions weren’t met in the first place

I owe it all to every interaction I’ve had in this city, the good and the bad

It’s my last week in toronto and my last show here… let’s reminisce about all the good times we’ve had and forgive each other for the bad times

My last show, the last dance, will happen at on Thursday courtesy of for hosting me and looking forward to playing at one of the places I’ve played countless times

Toronto will always be a part of who I am

I’m gonna miss you all ❤️
