The Government of Canada is seeking input on the proposed Canada Disability Benefit Regulations These proposed regulations detail how the Canada Disability Benefit would be administered and delivered. Members of the public - especially disability stakeholders - are encouraged to comment on the documents using the Canada Gazette’s online commenting system.

Easter Seals Canada is seeking passionate and resourceful individuals to join our team as Volunteer Mentors for 25-50 high school students living with disabilities across Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.
Our mentorship program aims to support the educational success, graduation, and smooth transition of these students to post-secondary education or the workplace.

Nearly 650,000 Canadians are already benefitting from the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), with 82% of oral health providers offering services like cleanings, fillings, and dentures. 🦷
As of today, close to 650,000 Canadians have received care under the Canadian Dental Care Plan.
Currently, over 20,500 oral health providers are participating in the CDCP, including some dental schools and educational institutions for oral health professions; by offering a wide range of services such as cleanings, fillings and dentures, representing 82% of oral health providers in Canada.
The CDCP is open to eligible seniors, adults with a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate, and children under 18. Eligible Canadians can apply here. https://ow.ly/1uAr50TjmGI
All remaining eligible Canadian residents will be able to apply online in 2025.

1,544,600 people (25% of the disability population) live in households that spend more than 30% of their total household income on shelter. This is higher than 19.7% of the total population despite persons with disabilities having similar or lower median shelter costs.
