Health Canada wants to treat natural health products like non-prescription drugs. This unnecessary over regulation will cause small to medium businesses to struggle or close, prices will increase, product availability will suffer, and some brands will leave the Canadian market altogether. We will have less access to NHP’s and pay much more for what’s available. Get educated. Take action. Let others know. We have until July 26 to complain. Save our supplements or natural health products (NHP’s) like vitamins, minerals, probiotics, herbals, traditional and homeopathic medicines and certain topical products like toothpaste and sunscreen.
