Mizrachi Canada
The Land of Israel, Torah, and the Jewish People are one intertwined whole. We and our partners teach this in Canada.
Mizrachi Canada champions religious Zionism across the country, promoting the ideology of Am Yisrael, Eretz Yisrael and Torat Yisrael. The vibrancy of Mizrachi is reflected in the range of services we offer to the community as the parent organization of, and in partnership with, the following groups:
∙ Bnei Akiva and its summer programs, Camp Moshava Ennismore, Moshava Bair Toronto and Mach Hach B
A special Kinah for Tisha B’Av this year composed by World Mizrachi’s Nasi, Rabbi Yosef Zvi Rimon ✨
Rav Rimon said: “This year, Tisha B’Av is especially difficult. There is the destruction that we always cry over, and there is our destruction that joins the larger destruction. But on the other hand, we have achieved special things. We come to this war, not out of weakness or lowliness. Am Yisrael has risen up. It is hard for us but we need to remember that within the hardship, we are living in incredible times and to know that we will win this war, with Hashem’s help.
“In this spirit I wrote this kinah. It was important to me to write a kinah that reflects the crying, the pain, the cost, the fears, and humiliation, but along with it, shows the greatness of Am Yisrael and our heroes to remind us that we are in a time of redemption with many miracles. B’ezrat Hashem, from the crying and the memory of destruction back then and the destruction of this year, we will quickly achieve victory and a complete redemption.”

Connect to Bereaved Israeli Families and Honour Israel's Fallen ✨mizrachi.ca/bezchutam
Sponsor a laser-cut holographic image with a backlight of one of Israel’s fallen to be sent to a bereaved family in Israel. Sponsoring families from Canada will get their own identical light, and will be connected with the bereaved family.
This is an important way to memorialize the fallen and build a meaningful connection with the bereaved family honouring their loss and providing support.

Here is the link to watch the funeral of Cpt. Daniel Perez hy”d, 3pm Israel time:
Funeral of Daniel Perez Join at this link on March 18, at 3:00 PM (Asia/Jerusalem time) to watch live.
It is with immense pain and deep sadness that we share with you that the Perez family were informed this evening that Captain Daniel Perez, 22 years old, has been declared as a fallen soldier, captured by a terror organization. A funeral is being planned for tomorrow, to be followed by Shiva.
Over the past 163 days we have desperately davened for better news. Throughout that time, the Perez family has inspired us and strengthened us as we have sought to strengthen them. The global tefillot for his wellbeing will now become global wishes of comfort.
This news came to the family on 7 Adar, the yahrzeit of Moshe Rabbeinu whose burial place is unknown, and has such become a date associated with mourning for all those whose burial places are unknown. As we have prayed and hoped for Daniel’s return until now, we continue to pray and hope for his return to a Kever Yisrael.
May Hashem comfort Rav Doron, Shelley and the entire family amongst all mourners of Zion and Yerushalayim, and may we see every single hostage return home.

Our Story
Mizrachi Canada is a Torah driven, community focused educational organization committed to Jewish identity and its destiny. Mizrachi Canada is the umbrella Religious Zionist Organization for many activities in Canada which connects our community with Israel in many ways, together with our branches and affiliates across the country. These include the Bnei Akiva youth movement, Camp Moshava Ennismore and Toronto day camp Moshava Ba’Ir.
The name Mizrachi is a combination of two Hebrew words, “Merkaz” and “Ruchani” – meaning a spiritual center. Our role is to be a proactive partner in taking personal responsibility in contributing to the collective destiny of Klal Yisrael through a commitment to a holistic and inclusive Torah approach to life. For decades, Mizrachi has been inspiring the world with the empowering message of Religious Zionism, forging strong partnerships between Jews across the world and in Israel, and helping to develop the realities of Torat Yisrael in Eretz Yisrael. Today, Mizrachi turns inwards with an eye on inspiring and calling to the action the new generation of Religious Zionists in Canada.
For over six decades, Mizrachi’s fundraising efforts have generously supported innovative projects and a myriad of educational, religious and cultural institutions throughout the State of Israel. Mizrachi provides scholarships to post-high school students enabling them to experience a year of study at various yeshivot and seminaries in Israel.
