We're excited to announce our latest passion project: a safe haven for trafficked girls in Palatine, IL. 🏠✨This is the first of its kind utilizing sustainable container design.

Historically, girls as young as 12 year old who have been trafficked often have nowhere to go, sometimes sleeping on their social workers' floors. This project aims to change that by providing them with a secure and nurturing environment until a permanent residence can be found.

Designed by the talented SICBS in-house architect. This is a design-build and reinforce the modular in-house construction. This is a first type of building using modular construction for the city of Palatine. This process will allow the project to be completed 25% faster, starting later this year.

Rory Rubin, CEO of SICBS exclaims, "We're thrilled to be working with amazing partners like Housing Opportunity Development Corporation, Shelter Inc., and DCFS to bring this vision to life. Our team at SICBS is deeply passionate about this project, as it allows us to address a critical issue and collaborate with incredible people dedicated to making a difference.
