On Sunday I was featured on CMD’s Modular Systems show on CKUT 90.3 Fm in Montreal. This is super exciting because I have been a huge fan of hers since I saw her play at Mutek in 2018! (back when they had the Savoy room open in Metropolis)

Lately I’ve been enjoying reading the Earth’s Children prehistoric fiction series by Jean M. Auel, so this collection of tracks became something loosely inspired by that vibe in terms of containing organic, percussive, tribal, atmospheric, glacial elements, yet still ultimately being a dancefloor friendly techno-y mix. (Lol the 2nd last track by me is actually named after the 4th book of the series)

It is such a huge honor to have been asked to make a musical contribution to this year’s Pride festivities🥹 and I wanted to take this opportunity to give another push to kindly ask for donations for the Rainbow Railroad initiative 🤗

Here is some more info about the organization:

Rainbow Railroad is a global not-for-profit organization that helps at-risk LGTBQI+ people get to safety worldwide. Based in the United States and Canada, we’re an organization that helps LGBTQI+ people facing persecution based on their s*xual orientation, gender identity and s*x characteristics. In a time when there are more displaced people than ever, LGBTQI+ people are uniquely vulnerable due to systemic, state-enabled homophobia and transphobia. These factors either displace them in their own country or prevent them from escaping harm.

As a result of Rainbow Railroad, more LGBTQI+ individuals can access lives free from persecution, and ultimately, we envision a world where LGBTQI+ people can live lives of their choosing, free from persecution.
