A few images from a branding session with . Sarah is a wife and mom, as well as a teacher and lover of everything simple. Her journey to simplicity started when she was diagnosed with cancer but intensified when she was on maternity leave.

“Having cancer, I was propelled into some deep, internal work. I became more self aware and learned that being a perfectionist wasn’t actually helping me that much and neither was people pleasing[…]Becoming a parent, pushed me further towards simplicity almost out of necessity[…]I could not keep up with meals, work, cleaning, laundry, etc, etc, etc. So I started getting rid of things. And the more I got rid of, the easier it was. Easier to keep things clean, to get things out of kitchen cupboards and to maintain a tidy, calm space. There was less to maintain, less to put away and feeling organized also became much easier. I was no longer shuffling things from room to room, trying to find a home for them. Or cram them into every available drawer, cupboard or bin. Because we had less!”

Robin has done such an incredible job finding creative renter friendly solutions to spruce up her kitchen. She wasn't allowed to paint. Instead, she removed the cabinet doors, put down contact paper, used stick on tiles from and added a faux counter (made of plywood) that she put on top of the existing counter! 👏🏼😍

Winter in Collingwood // Family — Olivia O'Young Photography I generally only shoot in Toronto but when this sweet family reached out to book a session in their home near Collingwood, it just so happened that I had a family vacation planned and was staying only 20 minutes away! Baby was only 3 weeks old, which was perfect for newborn lifestyle photos and her
