It's time for the 2022 J.K. Fries season and this year we will be focusing all our summer energy into the Wellington Community Market, which runs Saturdays 9am - 1pm, May 21 through October 29, at the Wellington United Church.

Jamie will be serving his famous fries, poutine, and some larder items, as well as books and t-shirts.

Please note that the fry stand at the barn at J.K. Farm will NOT be in operation this year - visit us at the Wellington Community Market!

JAMIE KENNEDY FRENCH FRIES

We roll into the 2021 with a crisp new look. Reflecting on our inaugural season last year, we were extremely pleased with the popularity of the French fry stand. This year we are building on our core menu to include new, prepared foods to take away. Burger kits, pan-ready local fish specialties, and grill-ready marinated steaks, to name a few. As always, our focus is on celebrating all things local and then adding our signature creativity to surprise and delight our guests.

This year the French fry stand at the farm will be open Tuesday-Saturday from 11:00-5:00. Our 2021 season will begin on May 18th and run through Thanksgiving weekend. On Saturdays we will also be at the Wellington Farmers' Market. We look forward to seeing you!

Celebrating gastronomy and local terroir is the cornerstone of what we do at Jamie Kennedy Kitchens, whether it's a multi-course feast or the humble French Fry at our fry stand. It’s also why I’m delighted to share my pick - since supporting our local Ontario businesses is so close to my heart and so important right now.
Our take on poutine has been a consistent favourite and we love to pair it with the 2017 Cabernet Franc, available at the . Our poutine is lovingly created with cheese curds from and braised beef and gravy made from soup bones and braised beef. Crème fraîche and green onions sliced fresh from the garden complete the dish.
I like how the bold and grounded flavours of this dish pair so well with the rich, full bodied palette that is the Stratus 2017 Cabernet Franc.

As a result of the unprecedented challenges faced by communities around the world as a result of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel County Pop on May 2, 2020. The Ontario Medical Officer of Health is recommending canceling events with more than 250 people, and we stand with them in supporting frontline healthcare workers who need all the support they can get.

We will immediately issue full refunds to all ticket buyers and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

On behalf of all our planned 2020 musicians, food/drink vendors, kids area team, Art on Stage artist, sponsors, volunteers, and operations team, we would like to thank you for your support of County Pop and what would have been our fifth year. Our plan is to return next year on May 1, 2021 so hopefully, we'll see you then!

Important Side Note - The coming weeks/months are going to be very hard on all working musicians, artists, creatives, and small business owners. Please consider buying some merchandise/music/creations from some of our planned 2020 participants listed below. We think they are all top-notch humans and we want to help them through the rough waters ahead.
