Ever have food that makes u dance in your seat? This oxtail and jerk pork made J and I do just that! The oxtail was soft and flavourful, the jerk pork was juicy and the spices were just perfect!! (Those who ever had jerk that has too much pimento knows what I'm talking about) I saw the sign when you walk in that said antibiotic and grain fed meats used only, so I asked the lovely owner, Easton, about this- he said he prides himself on using only the best, down to the spices! He sources the meat from all local farms with great quality that supplies to some great restaurants around Toronto. You can certainly taste it in the quality of meat, spices, rice, everything! He also mentioned that he likes to cook more healthy offerings, so you won't find fried chicken on his menu, but you will find jerk salmon and stew snapper!! I grabbed marinades before I left, and can't wait to come back and try more food!
