Ramadan, a significant Muslim celebration, underscores the importance of empathy by experiencing hunger firsthand. It emphasizes the communal aspect of food sharing.

As someone who values food sharing as a cornerstone of community building, Ramadan Gives Back holds special significance. Sharing meals is a tangible way to express care and build lasting relationships.

Our message at Ramadan Gives Back is clear: "Our table is always open to those in need." Having witnessed food insecurity globally, I am passionate about advocating for food justice and access. Food is not just sustenance but also a means of nourishing our spirits and fostering connections.

Ramadan Gives Back extends this ethos to the broader community, inviting those facing food insecurity to join us in sharing meals and forging connections.

Every Ramadan, Bread and Salt Fine Food conducts a fundraising campaign to provide nutritious meals to the homeless and Food Bank users, alongside our partner Humaniti/hot-meals. This initiative aims to break barriers and distribute meals to vulnerable communities across our city.
