Attention Thunderbird (email program) users.
For quite some time now, Thunderbird has been really slow to send emails. But, it appears to have been fixed in the latest update.
Make sure you have at least version 128.1.0 and it should fix the problem and emails will send after a couple of seconds once more.
UPDATE: It appears I spoke too soon. I did some tests the next day and TB is back to being slow sending off and on. Back to the drawing board... ...
UPDATE 2: Ah, I found if I have Thunderbird open for a long time (many hours or days) the send speed lengthens. But, if I restart TB, it goes back to normal.
To manually update Thunderbird, click on the sandwich icon in the top right area of the program, then scroll down to Help, click this, and then click About Thunderbird. It will check for updates and then, if it has installed a new update it will show Restart to Update. Click this and it will finish the update and restart.

Rogers/Yahoo email not receiving Gmail emails
===============================
I've had a few of these bounce back to me - Getting this msg from Yahoo:
550 5.7.9 This mail has been blocked because the sender is unauthenticated. Yahoo requires all senders to authenticate with either SPF or DKIM.
I know Gmail has proper security on it, so it must be Yahoo (the worst email host in the world).
Hopefully this will get fixed soon.

"The P28K is a niche device that wouldn’t necessarily appeal to all. It is more suited for elderly people who want the bare minimum from their phone without having to plug it in every other day. It is also a great device for people going camping or similar trips where access to power might be sparse, offering uninterrupted connectivity for days on end."
Energizer's new phone is putting powerbanks to shame Energizer, the battery manufacturer, has a new phone that prioritizes battery life over all else. The new phone is called the Hard Case P28K, and it features a behemoth 28,000mAh battery in it
There are more similarities now between these 2 programs. If you need a more robust program, especially for programming or specific business use, Notepad++ is probably a better choice. (I've been using Notepad++ for my regular notepad for years for my business.) If you just need a basic text editor and could use the tabs, automatic saving and pick-up-where-you-left-off, then the latest Windows 11 Notepad would probably work for you.
Should you use Notepad or Notepad++ on Windows 11? Are you debating between Notepad and Notepad++? Here's the one you should use on Windows 11.
