Stuck at home on a rainy Saturday afternoon with no screens or work allowed, I was at a loss for what to do. But then I remembered I had an adult paint by numbers kit collecting dust on my shelf. 🖼️ 👩‍🎨
With a glass of bubbles in hand, I decided to give it a try. The little spaces are so small that it might take me a while to finish, but that's okay - I'll enjoy the process! 😆

Sweaters, brisk mornings, boots, cute scarves, cozy fires, changing leaves, red wine, warm drinks, comfort food, apples, pears, and all things pumpkin, soup, soft flannel… I know there is more, what did I miss?? He tripped when he was chasing the geese flying overhead… he really, REALLY hates geese 😂

Thankfully, he is starting to feel better and will be chasing geese again in a few days. 🥰

I absolutely love a picnic!
Packing up the nibbles, grabbing a blanket or 2 to have lots of room to sit and lounge on, scouting out a quiet place or even in a park for lots of people watching and spending time talking and nibbling with my boys… love it! 💕 🧺

Summer break is for morning swims! Murphy works very hard to protect us from the pool robot 🤣. For my other pool owners - do you prefer to swim in the morning or the afternoon? Or maybe an evening dip? 💦

Happy weekend! We have been doing a LOT more hosting this summer, so I had to up my outdoor entertaining game! I am LOVING how colourful this photo is. I’ll be sharing all about this gorgeous tablescape on Cityline in a couple of weeks. Anything you spot that you’re loving?

It’s peony season!! Greg surprised me with these the other day from one of our local farmer stands. I love watching peonies bloom, they get so full from when they’re just buds! 🌸 I’ll be using these as a centerpiece for the kitchen island, dining table and outdoor dining table, too! Flowers are the best table decor! Do you have a favourite summer flower?

I get asked a lot about what makeup products I use, and these are my current daily go-tos! Each item is linked on my website (including my favourite makeup brushes!) and I did a SUNDAY LIVE tutorial on my routine - it’s saved a few posts back if you want to see it. I use a combination of new products and long-term favourites - I’ve used the same eyeliner since my teen years! How often do you switch up your makeup routine?

This ‘spice library’ was totalllly worth the effort 😍. I cook a lot, and have used this system in small spaces too. I gathered all my spices then condensed any doubles or ones I don’t use. Mason jars are my favourite to store spices, so I picked a size and measured out to make sure they would all fit (some math required 🤣). There is no such thing as too many posts about Murphy. You guys love him almost as much as we do! 🥰 I love catching him with messy ears! I love when this happens, I maybe wait a little while before I brush them out because it’s too cute! 😉 We’re having to get him groomed more often now that he’s a country dog but he actually loves it. If you’re a pet owner, how often is yours at the groomer? 🐾
