Swedish startup Heart Aerospace is in the process of revolutionizing air travel! They are aiming to have fully electric planes ready for regional passenger flights by 2026. ✈️ The first aircraft, called ES-19, will take 19 passengers and have an operating range of 400 km. It will be able to cover some domestic flights, as well as some within the Nordic region. 🌍 And the good news don’t end there! Today, on #WorldPressFreedomDay, we acknowledge the importance of press freedom, and remind authorities of their responsibility in safeguarding this aspect of democracy. Protecting the free press is an important part of Sweden’s worldwide #DriveForDemocracy. Besides being among the top 3 countries in which journalists have the most freedom (Reporters Without Borders’ 2021 ranking), Sweden is also the world’s largest donor to UNESCO’s work to protect journalists worldwide. 🌎 ***** Des médias sûrs et libres sont l'oxygène de la démocratie.
