We’re helping to spread the word about an upcoming event, where Marwa from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce will participate at an event June 18 hosted by Globe Women’s Collective, a Globe and Mail program dedicated to empowering women and advancing them professionally. In a report by McKinsey & Company and LeanIn.Org shows women often stall at the entry level. For every 100 men promoted to manager, there are only 72 women, and the situation is worse for women of colour, the report found. How are progressive organizations reassessing and formalizing who gets hired and promoted at work?
