Some customers in St. Catharines, Ontario may be experiencing an ongoing service interruption due to repeated cable thefts in the area. The timeline to repair has been impacted by weather and the location of the cable but we are working to restore services as quickly and safely as possible, and anticipate having services restored by Monday. We thank our customers for their ongoing patience.

Bell is aware that our network has been targeted
by vandals in the Welland, Ontario region. Last
weekend, our teams worked around the clock to
restore services in Welland due to copper theft,
and this morning the site was damaged again
due to another attempt to steal the newly-
repaired copper cable. We are working to repair
the damaged cables and encourage anyone
who sees suspicious activity in the vicinity of telecommunications cables to contact local law enforcement.
