Giving Tuesday is just four days away, and this year, Oasis Dufferin Community Centre has a big goal—and we need your help to get there!
Our target for fundraising this Tuesday is $5,000. While this goal may seem lofty, our fundraising goes a long way in allowing us to continue to serve our Dufferin-Davenport neighbours. Our weekly food bank and dinners, women’s counseling services, and seniors’ programming depends on it.
These funds will help us continue to offer services our neighbours rely on — more so today than ever before. With stagnant wages, soaring rents, and runaway inflation on food, our community members need Oasis to help bridge the gaps.
If you are in a position to make a donation, we appreciate it. (Any donation over $20 is tax deductible and will receive a tax receipt.) Other great ways to support are to share our emails and posts with your friends, or even just messaging us to say hello and help cheer us on.
Let’s rally for Oasis Dufferin and meet our goal! Together, we can help our neighbours who need it the most.
Stave off the sniffles and come join us at our annual Flu Shot Clinic tomorrow!

Please phone ahead if you are sensitive/allergic to eggs, or if you have any questions. 416-536-4431.
Thank you to our friends for the donation of over 100 pairs of socks collected at the annual Pumpkin Giveaway and Sock Drive event! Special shout-out to for organizing and purchasing more socks from money raised that day.
With the cold weather upon us, we are extra grateful for these items that will be handed out at our food bank. Yes, that’s right, at our food bank. In addition to food, we also provide basic hygiene products, socks and gloves (for the winter months) so donations of these items are always welcome.
Thanks again to all that supported the sock drive and know you’re support in keeping our community members toes toasty and warm is greatly appreciated!
to October 19th, when Oasis Dufferin Community Centre, in collaboration with The Mental Health Coalition, hosted our Second Health and Wellness Fair. The topic focused on the link between chronic diseases and our personality / mental health.
The unique and enriching event was designed to have a positive impact in the lives of our senior community, specifically those of Latinx heritage.
There were inspiring talks with health experts, interactive workshops, a time of physical activity and opportunities to connect with other participants while refreshments were served.
Thanks to the following agencies for partnering with us to make this a successful event for our seniors community.
Honourable mention to the Federal Government whose funding from the New Horizons For Seniors Program made this possible.
