Happy Tuesday! 👋 Lana here- founder of Women Who Freelance. So many new faces here- so I wanted to pop in and say hello!

Some of you may have noticed that I rarely show my face on this page, and I want to explain why. Women Who Freelance is not about me. It's about all of you. It's about creating a space where women freelancers can come together, support each other, and thrive.

However, it’s also important that you know there’s a real human behind the brand- who you can reach out for questions and support.

Today, I wanted to share a few facts about me- so you can get to know me on a more personal level.

1. Apart from running this community, I work full-time as a Marketing Operations Manager for a tech company and do freelance consulting work on the side - because apparently sleeping is overrated 😅

2. After earning a degree in political science, I realized my true calling was in marketing - my diploma is now collecting dust, but I have zero regrets 🎓

3. I was born and spent the first 13 years of my life in Armenia - a country known for its beautiful landscapes and delicious food- and I take great pride in my culture and people 🇦🇲

4. My first ever job was at a flower shop at the age of 16 and I loved every second of it. I make an effort to have fresh blooms at home whenever possible 🌸

5. I have a great passion for learning about new cultures- from the food and music to the customs and traditions, there's always something new to learn and appreciate 🌎

Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I'm excited to continue building this community together!
