Exam season is here! Do you prefer to study in a social setting or to study by yourself? Extroverted students might enjoy studying in a group where they can bounce ideas off of each other and compare answers. The advantages of studying with a group is that you can support and encourage each other while you are studying. You can correct each other’s mistakes and help each other improve. You can also give each other feedback and advice. A disadvantage of studying with a group is that you can become more distracted with your friends around and if your group is not focused, you might get less studying done or not study at all.
When it comes to studying by yourself, you can do practice tests, go over notes, and listen to recordings of lectures without anyone to distract you. You might be able to concentrate better by yourself and your studying might be more productive compared to if you study with a group. A disadvantage of studying by yourself is that you might get easily tired of studying. It is more entertaining and perhaps more motivating studying in a group. Whether you prefer studying in a group or by yourself, Bluekey Education can help! We offer group and one-on-one tutoring, so you can choose what you prefer.
