We have a new product. Our mini beeswax candle making kit is great for a holiday gift. Only $12.95 +tax and you can make 3 candles from it. Instructions included.
It comes with a mini decorative bee pin that you can pin to your finished candle. The bee pin, of course has a stinger or the pin part and the plastic wings detach which symbolize the story of what the honeybees do in the winter.
Honeybees have a pair of wings on either side of their body and this pair is made up each of two wing parts that join together in the middle by tiny hooks. In the winter they cluster in a basketball size shape putting their queen bee in the very centre where she is best protected and warmest. Then the other honeybees take turns and circulate from the centre to the periphery and to keep the temperature up in the hive they unhook their folding wing parts and shiver! So the bee pin's detachable wings symbolize that. Have a beeautiful day!
