On September 19th, 2024 Black Creek Fair Economies Project will be hosting an information session with TTC regarding upcoming seasonal jobs and other career opportunities.
The session will be held from 6-8pm at the Jane Finch Mall (1911 Finch Avenue West) in the JFM+ space across from Shoppers Drug Mart.

An online session will be available via Zoom at 6-8pm for those who registered.

We are excited to introduce you all to “DIGITAL IMPRESSIONS, URBAN GRIOTS, (DIUG)” a City of Toronto Cultural Hotspot Signature project and program focused on empowering and engaging young creatives from Jane and Finch to innovatively tell their stories as messages for the future through augmented reality and public art.

The program is FREE and will run for six weeks at Jane Finch Mall. D.I.U.G. is led by artist Samantha Dennis ( ) and co-facilitated by four talented local youth artists ( Comfort O.) By the end, participants will gain visual storytelling techniques and generate an 3D augmented reality experience connected to a mural and a sculpture installation that will be exhibited in the mall for six months. Particpants will also get to contribute to our historic mural being developed at the Jamaican Canadian Association building.

The end of program DIUG Project exhibition launch date will be announced soon for the end of August and will be spread through out Jane Finch Mall!

The program will run two days a week after 3:00 p.m.
Exact times and days will be based on pre-registration.
