Show of hands if you like pickles? 🥒🙋‍♀️ and what about cookies? 🍪🙋‍♂️ Welp, we did it, we combined the two and made a PICKLE COOKIE!! and it's actually pretty good. Available exclusively this Saturday at Taste of the Junction, limited quantities.
The pickle cookie was inspired by my nephew, a pickle fanatic. Wanting to win best aunt of the year award, I set out on a mission to create a pickle dessert because what kid doesn't love a sweet. There was a truly awful pickle cheesecake in the mix (no award given for that one). But after a few trials and errors, I was finally on to something, and thus, the cookie pickle was born. Come try it. It might surprise you... in a good way 😁

Holy s**t!! It's 2024! And Dirty Food is officially 8 years old!! How the heck did that happen 🤯
Eight years ago today, we opened Dirty Food for our first ever brunch service to the public.
We were first-time restaurateurs, and well neither of us had run a business w staff and customers and about a billion moving parts we came at it with a lot of heart and the mantra 'fake it til you make it.' And it worked 🩷 I mean it took ALOT of work, and A LOT of long long days, and a lot of just US.
But I am so proud of where we are today and so happy w all the wonderful people we've met along the way. We may have a few *cough cough* more wrinkles, but we also have a lot more wonderful stories to tell of our restaurant adventures.
Thank you to everyone for all your love and support and for sharing brunch w us, it means the world.💕
And Happy 8th Birthday to us 🎉🥳🥂

I loooove me a cookie that's a little bit sweet and a little bit salty 🍪 and this week's cookie is just that 😍 Ruffles rice krispie square crunch! Brown butter Ruffle chip Rice Krispie square studded cookies with white chocolate chips and salted caramel ❤️ So dreamy. And perfectly balanced. Get 'em before I eat 'em all 😁

Our poutine is made w our house cut fries, cheese curds, caramelized onions, fresh shucked peas, and available w beef Brisket and beef gravy -or- smoked portobellos and veggie gravy, and then we top it all w a sunny egg so you can have a sunny day 🌞
