We recently felled 3 White Spruce trees at our local township garage; 2 of the 3 trees had significant decay setting in at the base so it was best to get these down sooner than later. Hi folks, this video is a walk through of a recent tree removal we did. Every situation is different and no two tree jobs are ever the same. There are many different variables in each setting, each tree and each approach that you take to, ultimately, get the job done for your client in a safe and professional manner 🌲🌳😉

This job involved removing two Birch trees next to our client’s house. One of the trees was heavily decayed and “dead standing” for many years. I always urge homeowners to be proactive with potentially hazardous trees around common areas and high traffic areas of their property. For the safety of your family, friends, and the tree workers, please do not let your trees reach the point of excessive decay. Sometimes your tree can look “a bit off”, or, it’s clearly dead because there are “no leaves/needles on it in summer time”; at this point I urge you to get it checked out sooner than later… Don’t be shy, call a few different tree care workers if you like, get some input and insight into the best options and necessary steps to take. 😉🌳🌲

Fruit trees, basic pruning and training. Training them as young trees

Lots of heavy snow loads on roofs; homeowners are struggling with ice dams as well. I’ve posted a video and some pics below from a roof we recently cleared off. Best preventative maintenance to avoid ice dams is to keep your roof top cleared of heavy snow loads as much as possible; the less snow you have up there the better the chance of avoiding excess moisture from melt which can result in ice dams. Yes, we’re a tree service business, but when the trees are slow in winter we’re up on roofs clearing snow loads.
