A fawning response 🗣️ is a behavioral reaction where an individual excessively tries to please, appease, or placate another person, often as a means of coping with stress, 😣 conflict, or perceived threat. ⚠️
Though fight/flight/freeze are specific nervous system state responses, 👉 a fawning response is said to be more of a character adaptation.
