Well I guess it’s never too early to celebrate Christmas! Today is the day I send out Bethlehem Story to the radio Stations. Yeah! I hope this song finds you and adds to your merriment this season. For me there’s always a blend spirituality and child like wonder during the season.  I tried to capture that idea with this video- it’s for kids and the kid in us all. ☺️ Why do we call it Christmas Day? hint... the answer is in the song. Had a wonderful time last night singing for the Alcare Place variety show. Was on stage with Jim and Paul Henman and their sister Jeanne.  What wonderful Musicians and such a nice family group! Thanks for including me. 😊✨ Thank you as well to the executive Director Phil Bissett for the nice Coffee mug. here are a few pics from the evening! Hello everyone! Congratulations to all the Winners and nominees at this year’s Nova Scotia music week. I couldn’t make it down as my planning was off and I was recording and mixing my New Christmas song. “Bethlehem Story!”. Oh well I will join in the fun with our wonderful community of musicians next year. Studio coming along nicely and will soon be done. All my best to you all. Hello everyone! Looking forward to singing songs – new and old on the 16th at the Cole Harbor library. Hope to see you there! I'm in the final steps of building my new studio (complete w/ bar!). Hello everyone. 😊✨. I wanted to share an update on my studio renovation. As you can see I’m still very much engaged in finishing it; connecting up decks etc. trying to figure out where I will sit, where to put my piano, where the bar should go, where the lighting should be etc. Lots of creative decisions and I’m trying not to rush as I know I will look back fondly on these times. It’s kind of like building an ark, a place where I will be for a while. Speaking of rain.. my thoughts go out to all the people adversely affected by the weather. So sorry for your hardship.😌🪴 Well, keep dreaming everyone and I promise- music will come!! 😊

Had a wonderful time down at the Kempt Shore Acoustic Maritime Music Festival this weekend singing just a couple of songs at the open Mic sessions. It was my first time there and I must admit such great karma and great people all around. The people working behind the scenes on the open mic session were very kind and generous (and organized) Mike Milne!, Patrick (Scooter) on sound and Volunteer JohnPerry all made me feel very comfortable. Thank you everyone.  Lots of Performances to come today (Sat) and some tomorrow too. You should good check it out. 💫🪴

Still battling the flu but wanted to record this down for posterity.
🍀 I find it fascinating that relationships are based on an ideal. A dream. We fall in love with someone that touches us inside and we hold onto that. As the years go by, while we are away from our lovers and even when and if they pass on, we cherish the dream. The dream that is (what I love about) you!! Hopefully this song reminds you of your dream of your loved one. 💖

10,000 DAYS This song was originally recorded on my television series The Listening Room. The fabulous John Noseworthy took the song and added an arrangement to it. I thought he did a great job.
The lyrics of the song were written as the dying words and wishes of a parent to their child. For parents that have children late in life, 10,000 days represents about 26 years; which for some, is all the time they have with their parents. Kind of reminds us to make every day count! Here's a song I wrote for my son and his girlfriend many years ago when they were young. He was going away to Korea to teach English and she stayed behind. Although I didn't have a front row seat to the love affair I could sense some of the feelings that I'm sure we're going on. Tis hard to be away from someone you love.
