This is the first day in I canโ€™t tell you how long that I havenโ€™t had a massive todo list. Itโ€™s 2pm and Iโ€™m still in my pyjamas, and this is kinda gross, but havenโ€™t even brushed my teeth yet ๐Ÿ˜ณ Iโ€™ve read and studied, I worked for a little bit, and did some meal prep for the coming week, but all in all it has been a very slow and relaxing day. I just spent a leisurely hour on my mat followed by 15-minutes in the chi machine and sooooo good โค๏ธ Olive will start to get restless any minute so weโ€™re now on our way out for a walkโ€ฆ. This video clearly shows the reflexive relationship between the diaphragm and the pelvic floor. โ€ขWhen we inhale the diaphragm moves down towards the abdominals and pelvic floor. On the exhale this happens in reverse the diaphragm cintracting and moving toward the heart and the abdominals and pelvic floor follow. โ€ขTake a minute, relax and take a few breaths to see if you can feel the connection between your diaphragm and your pelvic floor. โ€ข There are many reason why this relationship doesnโ€™t always work this way. If youโ€™re having core and pelvic floor issues it might be worth a closer look.
