Cape Breton Blizzard Hockey Videos

Our U9 advanced team finished Sunday with Gold winning the banner 4-1. We had a special day from each player being called out by name, music, championship skate with banner , lots of tears from our sweet players because the season is over (both teams had tears regardless of who won) However my favourite moment is our amazing surprise performance of Oh Canada by our own team black players Piper O hagan and Georgia Mcvicar. I think a few eyes welled up during this. None of the players knew it was happening or the parents on the team.

Well, I lost a bet with the U9 Blizzard. If they pushed to their limits today I had to go down the water slide tonight. It was a win for both of us, they got what they wanted and they did what I asked on ice. Great trip to end season. 1 game left gold vs black U9 championship April 7th.
