Cement Accent Wall.
I used the finest/smoothest cement I could find here in Canada which happened to be self-leveling cement. All the other types of cements were thick and required a scratch surface. As you can imagine this was a nightmare to work with as the product wanted to "self-level" (aka fall to the ground). What I really wanted to use was Ardex Feather Finish which sticks to the wall like drywall mud but is only sold in the U.S. or via amazon for 3x the $ ๐ฑ however looking back I would have paid the extra $ and saved myself a huge headache! Ooooor even better (although a technique I had already tried and wanted to avoid) using drywall mud and painting it a cement colour. Anyways, I ended up painting the wall a (colour match) cement colour as it kept crumbling off ๐คฆโโ๏ธ... Lesson learned ๐คทโโ๏ธ How do you think it turned out?!

Crazy what only decor can do for a space. No renovation at all.

I knowwww some of you may be against artificial turf, but when you live in a concrete jungle any greenery helps, don't ya think!? ๐ Also I grew up playing soccer so i love it! Haha good timez ๐โฝ๏ธ
