What is the Difference between Cosmetic Acupuncture and Botox?

▶️ Botox cannot treat wrinkles due to aging or sun exposure or reduce the fine lines (only works on dynamic wrinkles – smile lines, frown lines)

▶️ Risk of paralysis of surrounding muscles & upper eyelid drop

▶️ Botox only provides temporary results. The more you get, the more you need to achieve same effect
Cost is at least $600.00 every 3-4 months!

What does acupuncture do? 😯

Acupuncture is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) where small, very fine needles (30 times thinner than injection needles) are inserted into specific points on the body. These points help access a system of channels in the body, known as meridians that are responsible for the circulation of energy. It is believed that when our energy is balanced our bodies become stronger and more effective at dealing with illness or other health conditions. Acupuncture is different than dry needling, it is rather gentle and relaxing, and you will find your session with Wendy and Cyrus are very enjoyable.

A special team composed of two families, the Wu and the Tam. More interestingly, Wendy and Cyrus are fraternal twins. They have been studying and pursuing TCM both together. On the other hand, Alex Tam and Karissa are brother and sister. They were the first siblings to graduate from the RMT program together at Langara.
