Looking back now at the time when I was eating healthy part-time and then self-sabotaging the rest, either emotional eating or eating to join in with the crowd. I can see exactly where I went wrong.
Although I truly wanted my energy and to lose some weight, I was definitely holding myself back. The one piece of advice I would tell my old self would be to get clear on what you want, the path to get there and stay true to yourself. I know it is something that would be hard to hear, but it is definitely what anyone in that same position needs to know.

Not everything is what it seems…
When you look at me, you may see a Holistic Nutritionist who has it all together. Energized, healthy, and successful…
Keep in mind that these things didn’t just fall into my lap. I am nowhere near a perfect example, but I do know that it is possible to be imperfect and still see success.
You can fall off the wagon and hop back on. You can eat a not so healthy meal, and still have a successful week. You can have neglected yourself and decided to make a plan and succeed!
I know this because I have been that person, and I make mistakes in my journey too!
The difference between being successful or not, is remembering that 1 small bump in the road does not have to hold you back from your ultimate goal. People who are successful make mistakes too. They simply don’t sit in those mistakes. They get back up and keep on striving towards their goals. Adopting this mindset it was has kept me on track and allowed me to realize my biggest goals.
So if it appears in any way that there is perfection in what I am offering, please remember that I don’t sell perfection. I offer a mindset that will allow you to chase your goals and realize your dreams! Practice over perfection!

How do you find your stillness?
OK, so what ARE probiotics really?
There is a lot of information out there about probiotics and what they can do for your health.
Probiotics are simply living organisms that are found in the gut. They help keep your digestion running smoothly. You can get these healthy microbes by consuming probiotic rich foods such as:

✅Kimchi
The problem is that our modern diet, and lifestyle along with antibiotics kill off the good organisms found in the gut, despite the best efforts to include fermented foods in the diet.

Are Your Poops Healthy?
Yep… we’re going there. Your bowel movements are an important clue to your overall health. A lot of loose stools or chronic constipation is not comfortable, nor is it normal.
Here are some things to consider in regards to YOUR BMs:
Frequency- going 1-3 times a day is fairly normal. Any more or less may be cause for concern.
Color- Your BMs should be brown, but this can be affected by certain foods. A lot of leafy greens may turn your BM a little more to the green side, which is normal in this case.
Ease- You should never have to push hard. This is a clear sign of constipation and it needs to be addressed.
Some of the best referenced info on this topic comes from the University of Bristol.
U of B created the Bristol Stool Scale which defines your BMs in the following way:
1 - Separate hard lumps (very constipated).
2 - Lumpy and sausage-like (slightly constipated).
3 - Sausage shaped with cracks in the surface (normal)
4 - Smooth, soft sausage (normal).
5 - Soft blobs with clear-cut edges (lacking fiber).
6 - Mushy consistency with ragged edges (inflammation).
7 - Liquid consistency with no solid pieces (inflammation).
