Lha~la tea is a startup business of Tamang family (an ethnic community of Northern Nepal) with a goal to provide organically cultivated, the finest premium hand-picked and sustainably harvested tea from the hills of Bungtang, Nepal to the global tea drinkers with health benifits and youthful images.
In Tamang Language, “Lha” means “the mountain “ and “la” means ”from”. So, Lha~la Tea means the tea from the mountain/himalayas.
This is just the begining of where we are going, we have a lot to offer. My Aama says, “The tranquilty of having a sip of tea from the garden to the cup is a heavenly feeling to start the day.”
