We are pleased to announce our theme for the 21st iteration of Diwali Fest: An Ode to Nature. We have collaborated with the talented Keerat Kaur to design this year’s festival poster art.

Our events will span across Metro Vancouver in October & November:
October 18 - Diwali in Coquitlam
October 20 - Diwali Downtown Surrey
October 27 - Diwali Downtown Vancouver

Diwali Fest Diwali Fest is an annual South Asian arts & culture festival, produced by the Diwali Celebration Society.

We are seeking dynamic Marketing & Event Management interns to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for a myriad of duties to ensure successful delivery of our Fall 2024 events.

We invite performing artists from British Columbia to be a part of Diwali Fest 2024. The artistic theme for our festival this year is an Ode to the Natural World.

Artists who are interested in participating are requested to apply via e-mail and send us the following info:

• Artist or Performing Group Profile
• Website or Social Media handles
• Proposal detailing how they will incorporate this year’s theme in their performance using music, dance or visual elements.
• Music list & performance length
• Names & Contact information for all artists in the group
• Preferred Date & Venue (ex. Diwali in Coquitlam on Oct. 18)

Deadline: June 30, 2024. Applications should be sent to: [email protected]. Our team will be reviewing applications in July and will reach out to selected artists by August 10, 2024.
